Description

We're a game studio located in Zurich, Switzerland and are currently working on the cooperative mindtwisting puzzle game «DERU - The Art of Cooperation» ( formerly known as Schlicht ). INK KIT Studios is part of the Mr. Whale's Game Services, a collective which produces games with novel mechanics and narratives.

History

Birth of Mr. Whale's Game Services

Mr. Whale's Game Services was founded by 6 former game design students in 2015. With a big list of games in development the the collective started with high ambitions and was rewarded by numerous nominations and prizes for their prototypes. This lead to reevaluating the reason d'étre for Mr. Whales Game Services which was officially transformed into a collective to connect all emerging studios from it and create a brand for innovative and novel games.

Birth of INK KIT Studios

INK KIT was founded in December 2016 with the goal to release «DERU - The Art of Cooperation» as debut game and then pick up one of the already advanced prototypes made during the studies at the Zurich University of the Arts.
